Shortcuts to Library Services: Home

Fall and Spring hours are Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Friday 8:00 am to 2 pm. Closed weekends and College holidays.

Summer hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.

All library materials and technology are due back finals week. Everything (EXCEPT laptops) can be returned 24 hours a day to the green drop box near the flagpole in front of the firehouse.

Laptops can be returned directly to the library during open hours. To renew items (technology included) students are responsible for speaking to library staff and verifying their enrollment in the following semester.  If you do not contact staff your item will not be automatically renewed and you will accrue late/lost item fees.

Borrowing Library Materials & Technology

• Check item availability and loan period using OneSearch.
  • Direct links to Dell 3120 laptops, TI-84 calculators, and Verizon hotspots.
• Place a hold on the needed items.
  • Short tutorial on placing a hold
  • Confirm if the item is available or if you're on a waitlist.
• Pick up the item when the library is open.
  • Spring & Fall: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday 8:00 am to 2 pm. 
  • Summer hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. 
  • Please make sure to bring a student ID or valid driver's license to check out items
  • You can place a hold on available items by using OneSearch, sending an email (cclibrary@yosemite.edu), OR calling us (209) 588-5119. 
• You can return most materials to the drop box outside the campus security office (near the flag poles) 24 hours a day. NOTE: laptops must be returned to the physical library during open hours.

• All of our research databases (except ALLDATA) are available online and off-campus
• Students and employees have online access to tens of thousands of ebooks
• We have dozens of subject research guides and tutorials available on our website.
