Finals Cram Nights

On the last evening of instruction before Finals week, the library and the ASCC (Associated Students Columbia College) team up with instructors for a last minute "Cram". It is not so much "cramming" as it is community event involving students, instructors, their library, AAC (Academic Achievement Center) and their student leadership. The event began Fall 2011 and is offered every semester. The ASCC provides food throughout the evening as the hours for the library are extended. The ASCC began offering prizes (i-pads, etc.) in 2013. Approximately 12-15 instructors participate every semester and the AAC has tutors available. It is now tradition.

Story Hours

The Columbia College Library began doing story hour for the toddlers in the child development center in 2016. It has since been a big hit with the children who enjoy coming to the library, listening to stories and singing songs. It is a program that we hope to continue for years to come.
